HOT! Sonicare Essence Electric Toothbrush - Only $7.99 at Target!! (normally $68.00!!)

$7.99 for a $68.00 toothbrush?!  I know - it sounds unbelievable, but it's true!!  I got one just today when I went to Target!!  I've heard great things about these!

Here's how the deal works:

Phillips Sonicare Essence Toothbrush at Target

Regularly $68.00 - marked down to $37.99 (Target says this is their new regular price!)
- $10.00 coupon that was located in the 12/12 Sunday newspaper (in the SmartSource insert) = $27.99
- $10.00 coupon from the Target website = $17.99
- $10.00 mail-in rebate from Phillips (also located in the 12/12 Sunday newspaper) when you purchase this toothbrush = $7.99

Confused?  Don't know how to get those coupons and rebate form?  Here's what you need to do:
  • TIP:  You can use both a manufacturer coupon (clipped from newspapers, printed from Coupons.com, etc.) and a Target coupon on a particular item!  This is called "stacking" coupons.  So you can use the $10.00 manufacturer coupon from the newspaper AND the $10.00 Target coupon from the Target website for a total of $20.00 in coupons!  (see how to print the Target coupon below)
  • The $10.00 coupon and the $10.00 mail-in rebate form from the 12/12 Sunday paper can be bought from an online coupon clipping service that I highly recommend!  They're called The Coupon Clippers, and I've used them several times myself.  The toothbrush coupon is only $.40 and the rebate form is only $.30, so $.70 total!  You will want to make sure you're ordering the correct coupon and rebate form - there are a few different choices.  Make sure the toothbrush coupon and the rebate form you select have the expiration date of 2/28/11.  To place an order from them, you have to have a minimum order of about $4.00, but they have LOTS of coupons to choose from, and I have no doubt you'll be able to find coupons for other products you already use.  Or you could find a few other people who want to do this deal and split the cost!  There's a $.50 Administrative Fee, but they only charge $.44 for shipping (unless you have a huge order).  So for around $5.00, you can get the coupons you're needing for this transaction and others you want!
  • How to print the Target coupon:
    • Click here to get to the coupon generator on the Target website
    • On the left side of the page, click on "Personal Care"
    • Locate the coupon for $10.00 off a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush and select it
    • Scroll to the bottom and click "Print Selected Coupons"
    • TIP:  You can print Target coupons 2 times each (from any computer).  After you print the first one, it will say "Go Back to Coupons".  Click that, and then go back to the coupon you want to print again, following these same instructions.
Question:  What should I expect when I'm buying the toothbrush at Target?
  • At my Target, the toothbrush was located on an endcap over in the health and beauty section, but it may be on an actual aisle at yours.
  • After your items have been rang up, just hand over the coupons.  There shouldn't be any trouble, but sometimes a cashier doesn't realize you're allowed to "stack" a manufacturer coupon with a Target coupon.  If this happens, just ask if you can speak with a manager, because it's definitely allowed.
  • Make sure you keep your receipt so you can use it for the mail-in rebate!
Question:  How do I do the mail-in rebate?
  • Make sure you have the rebate form (again, it was in the 12/12 Sunday paper or you can order it from The Coupon Clippers).
  • The form itself is pretty self-explanatory - just make sure you have your Target receipt
  • You'll also need the proof of purchase (UPC code) from the box, so don't throw it away! (I've done that before and missed out on rebates...)
  • The rebate is good until 2/28, and it must be postmarked by 3/31.
  • TIP: It's always a good idea to copy or scan all the items you send with the rebate in case there's any trouble.  But I honestly haven't had any trouble with the mail-in rebates I've sent off in the past.
3 Extra Brush heads for $15.00!

There is also a good deal on extra brush heads for this toothbrush at Target!  The cost for 3 extra heads is $25.00.  Again, you can use a manufacturer coupon and a Target coupon at the same time.  Each coupon is $5.00, for a total of $10.00 off!  Here's how to get the 2 coupons you'll need:
  • The manufacturer coupon for $5.00 was in the 12/12 Sunday paper, but if you don't have it, you can order it from The Coupon Clippers.
  • Click here to print the Target coupon for $5.00 off a Sonicare brushhead item (see detailed instructions above).
Let me know if you have any questions - I know this is a little confusing if you're a beginner.  I'd love to hear about it if you do get this great deal!  :o)
